Gaz & Camilla's wedding in Itchenor

Gaz and Camilla got married in Itchenor on the coast on 31 May 2008. Camilla, being super organised, arranged for us all to stay in various houses around Itchenor village so we had the whole weekend to celebrate the nuptials. Rhys and Kylie were over from NZ so we met them along with Matt and Amy and Gaz's family at the Itchenor local for drinks and birthday cake for Rhys on Friday night and had more than a few quiets. Saturday brought fantastic weather and we had a lazy lunch before heading down to the church for the wedding. The church was incredible - tiny and hundreds of years old and packed full of Gaz and Camilla's families and friends. The ceremony bought plenty of tears and the bride and groom looked gorgeous both. The reception was in a marquee just down the road from the church and in true kiwi style there were mini burgers, sausies cooked on a barbie, pavlova and lamb (I think!) - divine. There was far too much Marlborough wine and bottles of speights (we have numerous classy pictures of the speights on the dance floor!) and the night got messier and messier as it wore on. Gaz and Camilla snuck away through the middle of lines of sparklers held by the guests and the boys left with boxes of wine for the after party. The after-party resulted in a lost camera and Manu losing his phone before we headed along the pitch black country lane to our beds. The 10 minute wander along the country lane took more than an hour and we lost various people along the way. Grant's suit took 4 days of drycleaning and his shirt ended up in the bin. Draw your own conclusions!
