The Christmas season

As always December saw us with far too many Christmas parties and in a state of constant drunkeness. December is always the month of the year where you really start to wish that you actually didn't drink, but also that, if you do, you actually had the power to say no more. But alas - 'tis never the case and as a result December is always a month of haze and ill-feeling. This year we has Christmas parties at Cafe Marche (a little quaint French restaurant near Smithfields), at a swanky West End hotel (I forget the name - perhaps I never knew it) and at a bar called the Garrison near London Bridge. We spent weekends and evenings at various restaurants around the city and even braved the crowds (and Grant's extreme uncoordination...) to go ice skating in Hyde Park's winter wonderland with Shaun and Paula. And....we counted down the days until the 21st December.
