Lake Como, Italy

We spent Easter this year at Lake Como with Sah and Simon in a small small town named Varenna which is supposed to be the most romantic town at Lake Como - really, this just meant tiny and quaint but still very cool. The weekend was very relaxed - we spent the majority eating pizza and pasta and drinking Italian reds. On Saturday, we caught the ferry over to Bellagio, one of the other small towns on the lake, and spent the afternoon eating lunch in the sun and wandering the shops (Como is one of the biggest sources of silk for fashion designers - so we bought the most amazing silk/cashmere pashminas!). In keeping with four seasons in one weekend, it snowed and stormed with pitch fork lightening on Saturday night and so Sunday was freezing! The Lake itself is stunning and the scenery absolutely spectacular - definitely a place to visit.
