Easter in Canada

Wandering around Angel this afternoon and I ran into friends from home, Hugh and Carol, who reminded me how useless we have been at updating the blog - so here is our news of the moment. We had a nasty start to the year at work so seeking some relaxation (and no obligation to explore new places...), we spent 10 days over the Easter break in Canada but due to our frequent visits probably have nothing new to write about that you haven't already read about on our previous visits. As always, we had a brilliant time in Vancouver catching up with B & T who have, since our last visit, bought an awesome apartment on the West side overlooking the harbour and Granville Island. As the weather was pretty mild, we spent most nights drinking and dining down at Granville Island which was buzzing with people out enjoying the sun and warm evenings. We hired a jeep for a few days and headed up to Whistler for some snowboarding on Blackcomb which was awesome - great snow and very few people actually on the mountain so no queues and at times we had whole runs to ourselves. Brilliant! We always hate leaving B & T who are definitely two of our favourite people of all time but we are back in Canada in January which is not too far away...

They didn't mention they hadn't seen ME in a year. I hate this family *angry-face*

PS. I was sleepy.
