Lake Louise

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Lake Louise checking out the chateau and iceskating on the lake. With a two foot thick sheet of ice and six feet of snow over the lake, it makes an amazing picture. We skied up at the Lake Louise Ski Resort today which is about 45 minutes drive from Banff and had another great day exploring although the snow was average given its the tail end of a mild winter. Plenty of ice and getting low on powder. We are heading up to Kicking Horse on Monday so will hopefully get some better snow up there.
